History

Background

In response to the rapid increase of school-age children in emerging communities such as Fuhuali, YongKang District and to alleviate the plight of saturation in neighboring primary schools, as well as to cooperate with the government’s education reform policy of reducing the number of students in classes. Yung Shin Elementary school was founded.

The school’s address is No.166 Fuhuali, YongKang District, Tainan City. The school district includes Fuhuali, Erwangli Neighborhood 1~29, Wangliaoli Neigborhood 4~10 and 8~25. It’s located at No.629 and No.27 of Wangliao Section, YongKang District (Wenxiao 13^th cultural and educational land), with an area of 28,057 hectares. Yung Shin Elementary School was established on August 1, 2002, and officially enrolled students.

 Overview of the school

1. Preparation Works~

On May 10, 1999, the principal of Rende Elementary School, who also served as the director was appointed to carry out school preparations and planning works. On December 28, 1999, the first phase of the school construction project was completed and awarded. On January 15, 2000, the groundbreaking ceremony was held by magistrate of Tainan County, Cheng Tang-Shan.

The follow-up project was put out to contract on May 4, 2000, and carried out on May 7.

The school set seventy classes as the development goal.

2. School Administration

The school has a total of six offices: academic affairs, student affairs, general affairs as well as counseling office, personnel，and accounting office. The number of classes in 2012 academic year has been increased to 74 classes (including 2 resources classes), with a total of 114 teachers and staffs in the school.

3. School Building Plan

The height differences between the east and west of the school is about one floor, so it was built according to the terrain. The building was designed in a “ n ” shape, a ground floor and five floors above the ground. It’s situated in a north-south direction, and the distance between each building is about 20 meters with a novel shape.

4. Principles

1. It’s planned according to the integrity, practicality, security, safety, economic，efficiency, beautification and innovation.
2. The classroom reserves TVs, telephone broadcasts, monitors, electrical wires, as well as audio-visual equipment. There are also cabinets.
3. In addition to the air-defense refuge planning, the basement is also equipped with a parking lot, aiming at multi-purpose venues.
4. Floor tiles on each floor are neat and beautiful.
5. Set up barrier free environment such as disabled elevators and learning facilities.
6. Landscape configuration: teaching area, sports area and resting area are planned in detail according to the actual situation of the school, considering landscaping and greening education.
7. Toilets are distributed evenly, men and women are separated, male urinals are also separated, and the latest automatic flushing equipment is adopted.

5. Planning of the administrative offices
